For our project for Animal Allies, the topic we chose was bees.

Problem: Einstein said  “If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man. If the bee disappears from the surface of the earth, man would have no more than four years to live.” This is a famous quote from a great mind, but it only captured part of the true problems that would come about from the death of bees.

Our problem is that varroa mites are killing bees. This is one of the many, but this one stuck out to our project team because one the cost and feasibility of the implementation. Two, most would have the simple items needed.
